Paul Bruneau is a Ojibway native and a member of the Mattagami First Nations Reserve.
It's wild alien character and cosmopolitan style is ubiquitous only to Paul's elite craftsmanship, lifting his Inukshuks to a level never seen before in Northern Canadian art.
The suaveness and unmatched finesse of his Inukshuks are the absolute most divine Inukshuks we at the gallery have ever seen.
Paul Bruneau had a very hard life growing up. He was institutionalized into a dozen foster homes across Ontario. One of them in which he met the infamous - Idris Moss. It was here that the two connected, and Idris introduced Paul to Inuit art.
This is a gorgeously balanced inukshuk done in a striking serpentine stone. It has multiple colorations in the stone. The animation of Paul's Inukshuks are what really makes them stand out from all other Inukshuks.
