You know what I Love about Inuit Art? Just when I think I saw the nicest piece ever in my life... I am bemused, surprised and astonished to come across an even nicer one.
This one is the very latest to do that, feeding into my heroin-like addiction - by Johnnysa Mathewsie
This is a beautiful rendition of an Orca Whale.
Quite frankly, one of the nicest pieces we at the gallery have ever come across. I don't normally see pieces that have two different stones to form a communion of one. This piece does this very well and when I first saw it, my heart skipped a beat and I had to have it.
What captivated me to this piece were its alien like character. It possesses an extraordinary post modernist bohemian feel that can easily feel at home in a high rise condo downtown Toronto or Tribeca NYC.
For these reasons alone, I put this piece into the masterpiece category and I was very lucky to stumble upon it.
