This is a beautiful rendition of a swimming Narwhal by Louis Uttaq. Powerful creatures of the Arctic sea, this piece is elevated on an antler allowing the viewer to observe his power and might as it speeds through the water like lightening.

This perspective is rare since we usually see a seal solidly planted on the ground.

The details are exquisite; large round eyes, beautifully carved
flippers and tail and the dark mossy green stone is cool and so sleek.

This would be an extraordinary gift for a wedding, especially to someone who is new to Inuit art because this sculpture has such universal appeal.
