Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!
Gummy Bear's beautiful green colour is stunning.
It is difficult to find large bears in these jewel tone colours.
I love the variation in hue of Gummy's green and the fading of the green into lakes of yellow and gold.
These yellow accents act like permanent rays of sunshine beaming onto the bear as if he is bathed in sunlight forever.
Gummy is the poster child for the Teddy Bear style of bear.
His limbs are large and muscular.
They must carry his ample body.
The complex colours of the stone give the limbs a "spongy" look, just like a Gummy Bear.
Gummy is a magnificent Dancing bear who would be a wonderful entry level large bear for the newcomer to collecting BUT would also be an exciting addition for a more experienced collector of Inuit art.
