This is a beautiful whale carved from an exquisite Alabaster stone.

The luminescence of the stone allows the whale to glow and shimmer as it traverses the ocean’s depths.

Our whale’s companions include three smaller whales and a cheerful sea turtle carved from baleen (whalebone). It seems to me that the four whales are keeping a watchful eye on the turtle, keeping him away from danger; looking out for their friend.

The whalebone carving is meticulously detailed. The lines of the sea creatures are nicely proportioned.
