This is a series of electrifying white polar bear Inuit sculpture by Internationally renowned Inuit artist Lew Phillip from Iqaluit. He specifically made this and several other bears we have in our store for the Northern Lights festival held in Ottawa Canada back in February 2012. This is an exhibition piece from a well recognized artist, thus making it a very strong investment.
This Walking Bear, like all of Lew's bears is proportioned perfectly to the actual movements of a real bear. It is quite large and measures 12.5 inches long, & 6 inches tall.
What draws me to this bear is the beautiful marble finish. The multi colored orange / pink veins surfing across the white stone give this beautiful bear an electrifying effect that will draw attention immediately from your audience.
The sculpture is signed by the artist.
