The lines of this mesmerizing fish flow effortlessly from head to tail.

The native Gjoa Haven stone, (serpentinite) is a deep matte black colour.  Smooth and velvety to the touch.

I love "Upstream's" movements. 

I can see this magnificent fish in the Arctic sea, intense in his moves as he traverses the ocean floor on his way home.

The allure of this masterpiece is its realism.

This is a sculpture of a real fish in its natural environment.

I truly admire carvings from distant Northern communities like Gjoa Haven.

These carvings are unique and original, not at all like other Inuit carvings.
