Dancing bears are certainly the most popular style of Inuit bear carving but a Walking bear has its own magic attraction.
Quest is a small and perfect depiction of a young "Teddy bear" style walking bear.
His head is large and exaggerated in proportion. It is quite wide as well and his ears are a dominant feature.
Traditionally, the realistic style of bears have small ears which are positioned close to their heads and are not an obvious feature.
I love Quest's wide ample neck.
His ample body size suggests he may be preparing for hibernation.
With Quest, Adamie shows us his multifaceted talent.
Dancing bears and Walking bears, Mathewsie is extraordinarily talented.
Exactly, what we have come to expect from Adamie Mathewsie.
