Merlin is large!
His vertical wingspan is magnificent.
Can you see him soaring over the forest, looking down with those big yellow eyes like high beams at night?
Sam's owls often appear to be in a perpetual state of surprise OR
Are these Owls focused on a potentially tasty morsel on the ground?
I am always entranced by the feet that Sam carves for his pieces.
The toes/claws are always exaggerated in size but the message is clear.
