Like so many of Kudluk’s subjects, this drum dancer shaman appears to be enjoying himself immensely. This dynamic sculpture is full of energy that is pushed forth in all directions.
This is a unique and thrilling masterpiece. The fluidity of the shaman emulates that of the spirit of the drum dancer in full motion. The dark stone transcends nicely against the etched in greyish stone. This gives the piece a full range of detail and colour.
Kudluk is a world class artist and has participated in numerous exhibitions focusing around his work.
