Huddled together in the chilling depths of the Arctic Ocean, lives this beguiling school of Arctic char.
As daunting as this environment sounds, the inlayed eyes (caribou bone) impart a happy demeanour to the char who appear to be feeding on the ocean bottom. There is a wry hipness to our fish!
I am smitten with this particular shade of green serpentine stone. Its pale hue with patches of deeper green gives the fish a striking realism.
There is something extraordinarily freeing about the migration patterns of Arctic char, particularly their movements to and from the river mouths.
These Arctic char would bring some light hearted energy to your collection.
