We recognize that this Killiktee Hawk Hunting Fish is a museum quality piece..

I believe that this sculpture is one of Killiktee's best works.

This is an unmatched depiction of a magnificent hawk hunting for a fish.

And this isn't just a gorgeous Hawk.  This is a DANCING HAWK!

Killiktee is internationally renowned for his Dancing Hawks. I was so fortunate to find this gem.

This Hawk is perfect.ly carved from the forest green stone to the incredible wings. Killiktee has carved the wings in a fanned position which emphasizes each wing feather.  

I particularly admire how Killiktee has extended the left leg and foot.  This directs the viewer to focus on the great talons which are holding the fish in a death grip.

But for me, I think the side view of the extended neck and head is the most dramatic and fascinating feature of this sculpture.

This Museum Quality sculpture is Killiktee at his best!
