Masterpiece Sculpture!
Cape Dorset artist Etelu Ashevak has presented us with this beautifully carved Dancing bear.
This piece is striking, I love how the upper part of the sculpture is slim and sleek.
The narrow shoulders extend into the long slender neck which then transitions into a gorgeous head and face.
The muzzle is slightly more pointed and the ears are a bit larger than the traditional style of bear.

The bottom half of the carving has a roly poly habitus.
This piece is exquisite and graceful.
The dark stone is alluring. It is the perfect choice for this sculpture.
