Parr Parr comes from a renowned family of Inuit print artists.  His mother Leah makes jewellry and also carves.

It is no surprise that Parr Parr has a fresh, young approach to Inuit carving.

Have you ever seen Inuit snow goggles?

The stone goggles were used by the Inuit to shield their eyes from the strong damaging sun rays reflected by the snow.

The slits allowed a limited amount of sun through the goggles.

 This is one of many resourceful creations the Inuit have invented. 

I wonder if they have Inuit contact lenses?
