Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!.

Derrald's Orcas are at the top of my list of favourite carvings.

Each one of them is spectacular. Why?

First, because Orcas are simply some of the most graceful, beautiful and powerful marine mammals in the world!

And second, Derrald's ability to conjure these exquiste sculptures from a piece of stone is nothing short of a miracle.

His depictions of the orca are so exact in their detail that I am beginning to see Taylor as the Orca Whisperer.

Our Orca is on a deep dive, with what looks like a mischievous smile on his face.

Deep Diver flows effortlessly from head to tail.

The contrasting colors of black and grey charge this masterpiece with electrical energy.

I love the movement of this Orca. It is so intense and lifelike.

Taylor has earned himself a spot among the ranks of today’s top master carvers like   Ruben Komangapik.

His sense of motion and the dynamism of his pieces are exceptional and are a testament to the talent these master carvers must possess.
