This is a stunning caribou carving by master Inuit carver Pavinak Petaulassie from the Inuit community Cape Dorset. This masterpiece was acquired directly in Cape Dorset (Arctic Canada)

Pavinak is well known internationally for his caribous. This is his signature carving. I always liked caribou carvings because they are nice animals in general. The beautiful bone antlers contrast nicely with the dark green stone. It is a very positive subject and sends happy vibes to its surroundings.
