This is a gorgeous dancing Narwhal made by Onah Onalik from Iqaluit, Nunavut. The stone used is carved in a very rare “soft grey” serpentine that endows this lively Narwhal with an exotic and sophisticated luminosity.
Narwhals have become my favorite animal. This is because they are so intriguing, rare and native to the Arctic only. It is an unusual animal that is not known by many which is what makes this piece in particular captivating.
