I am intrigued when Inuit artists portray an everyday subject (such as the ballpoint pen) using traditional carving techniques and medium.
One end of the pen is the red-tipped ballpoint, the other is an exquisitely carved whalebone harpoon complete with sinew ropes.
Fascinating.
