Qavavau is the grandson of the late Master Carver Agangayuk Shaa.
He is only 30 years old and is already creating exquisite sculptures.
When I saw this piece, I was struck by the rich handsome stone and the earnestness of the bear.
The dark stone directs our attention to the silhouette of the bear.
Every curve and every angle of this realistic bear sculpture is mesmerizing.
I can't stop looking at this carving.
This is a definite treasure and would be a highly appreciated gift.
